Pittsburgh (10-25-5-3) at Philadelphia (20-8-10-5) 7:30 pm EST

PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- The Philadelphia Flyers try to snap a four-game winless skid Monday night as they host the Pittsburgh Penguins in an Atlantic Division matchup.

The Flyers are 0-2-1-1 in this skid, which is one shy of their longest of the season. They are just 6-6-5-4 in their last 21 games, but are still three points in front of New Jersey for the lead in the Atlantic.

Philadelphia has been held to less than three goals in eight of its last 10 games, but could get its offense in gear against Pittsburgh. The Penguins have allowed a league-high 157 goals.

The Flyers have a win and a tie in a pair of home meetings with the Penguins this season. Philadelphia improved to 81-16-8 all time at home against Pittsburgh on December 3, when Mark Recchi and Jeremy Roenick each had a goal and an assist in a 5-2 triumph.

Philadelphia fell to 1-2-0-3 in its last five home contests with Saturday's 3-0 loss to Edmonton. The Flyers went 0-for-5 on the power play, took 26 shots and were shut out for the fourth time this season.

"I think that any time you have two, two-minute 5-on-3s and you do not score, it is really discouraging," Flyers coach Ken Hitchcock said. "As the game wore on we had guys that got pushed out of the competition. That was equally disappointing."

The Penguins also come off a shutout loss as they were embarrassed, 8-0, by Montreal on Saturday. It was their 17th loss by at least three goals this season and dropped them to 2-9-1-1 in their last 13 games.

The Penguins gave up four power-play tallies and own the worst penalty-killing unit in the Eastern Conference.
