Dallas (40-24-13-0) at Vancouver (38-24-10-5) 10:00 pm EST

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (Ticker) -- The Vancouver Canucks can become the fifth team in the Western Conference to clinch a playoff spot on Saturday when they host the Dallas Stars.

Vancouver, which clinches a postseason berth with a victory, is trying to get into position to win the Northwest Division. The Canucks are three points behind Colorado and both teams have five games remaining.

Dan Cloutier stopped 15 shots as Vancouver ended a five-game winless streak (0-3-1-1) with a 1-0 victory over Los Angeles on Wednesday. Matt Cooke scored the game's lone goal.

Dallas has already clinched a postseason berth and owns a four-game winning streak. The Stars are unbeaten in their last six after Wednesday's 4-3 overtime win at Edmonton on Bill Guerin's game-winner.

Guerin has scored in all three games as Dallas is 3-0 against Vancouver this season. Marty Turco made 20 saves as the Stars posted a 3-0 victory in the last matchup on March 18.

The Stars are 13-2-3 in their last 18 games.
