ATLANTA (Ticker) -- Nine days after their first meeting of the season turned ugly, the Tampa Bay Lightning and Atlanta Thrashers square off again on Saturday at Philips Arena.

Tampa Bay recorded a 6-0 triumph over Atlanta on October 20 as Fredrik Modin scored twice and Vincent Lecavalier added a goal and three assists.

But the key play in the game was a vicious elbow by Thrashers left wing Eric Boulton against Paul Ranger in the third period, inciting a profanity-filled tirade from Lightning coach John Tortorella and a six-game suspension from the league office.

The Thrashers rebounded without Boulton - who was suspended Monday - to post a win vs. New Jersey, but they have since dropped their last two games. On Thursday, they suffered a 7-5 setback at Pittsburgh despite jumping out to an early 4-0 lead on a goal and two assists from Ilya Kovalchuk.

Tampa Bay is coming off 4-2 triumph vs. Washington as Lecavalier and Vaclav Prospal each collected a goal and an assist. Sean Burke needed to make only 12 saves to pick up the win for the Lightning, who won for the third time in four games.

The Lightning and Thrashers also will meet Tuesday at the St. Pete Times Forum in the third of eight meetings this season.
