CALGARY, Alberta (Ticker) -- At the rate they are playing,
the Calgary Flames are hoping the month of November never ends.
The Flames will try for their eighth consecutive win -- their
longest streak in 13 seasons -- when they host the Detroit Red
Wings on Wednesday.
After opening with four triumphs in 13 outings, Calgary has won
all seven games played in November, including five one-goal
victories, and can register its longest winning stretch since
December 14, 1992-January 2, 1993.
Jarome Iginla scored a power-play goal with 1:07 to play and
supplied a pair of third-period assists Monday as the Flames

Wings will be hungry to bounce back after their first road loss
of the season, a 4-1 setback at Vancouver on Sunday.
Pavel Datsyuk scored his eighth goal for Detroit, which lost

The Red Wings have won the last four regular-season meetings
against the Flames, including a 6-3 triumph on October 9. Henrik
