EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey (Ticker) -- In a matchup of star goaltenders, Martin Brodeur and the New Jersey Devils hope to bounce back from a tough loss when they host Dwayne Roloson and the Minnesota Wild on Saturday.

After reeling off three consecutive wins from November 23-29, the Devils dropped a 2-1 decision to the Philadelphia Flyers on Wednesday.

Brodeur stopped 31 shots and rookie Tuomas Pihlman scored his first career goal, but New Jersey failed to convert on all five power plays.

The Devils hope to generate a little more offense Saturday when they meet former coach Jacques Lemaire for the first time this season.

Lemaire guided New Jersey to the Stanley Cup title in 1995, but his Wild have struggled over the last four weeks, dropping six of eight games since November 8.

Roloson stopped 44 shots on Thursday, but the Wild could not break through against opposing netminder Tomas Vokoun in a 2-1 setback to the Nashville Predators.
