SUNRISE, Florida (Ticker) -- This seems like a good time for the Florida Panthers to end their struggles against the St. Louis Blues.

When the teams square off Thursday, Florida will be looking to improve on its 3-11-3-1 all-time record against St. Louis.

The Panthers have dropped four straight meetings in the series since a 3-0 win on February 19, 2001. But it certainly appears like their struggles could end Thursday.

St. Louis, which has a league-worst 25 points, enters having lost three straight games following a 6-1 defeat against Colorado on Monday.

Simon Gamache scored the lone goal for the Blues, who also have dropped three straight road games in which they have been outscored by an ugly 12-1 margin.

Florida is coming off Sunday's 4-3 shootout victory in Washington as captain Olli Jokinen scored twice in regulation and Nathan Horton and Joe Nieuwendyk tallied in the shootout.

Roberto Luongo made 33 saves and added a pair of stops in the shootout as the Panthers concluded their road trip with a 2-2-1 mark.
