OTTAWA (Ticker) -- The Ottawa Senators try to hand the New York Rangers their seventh consecutive loss here Saturday.

The Senators had their five-game winning streak snapped with a 6-2 loss to the Washington Capitals on Wednesday. Mike Fisher had a power-play goal and Jason Spezza tallied for the 14th time this season.

Ray Emery had 31 saves for Ottawa, which went 1-for-8 with the man advantage.

The Senators have won their last four home games overall.

Meanwhile, the Rangers snapped a four-game slide with a 3-2 shootout victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday. Brendan Shanahan scored the game-tying goal midway through the third period and then the decisive goal in the shootout.

Blair Betts tallied while Henrik Lundqvist stopped 28 shots for New York, which have gone to overtime in five of its last six contests.

The Rangers have not won here since March 21, 2002.
