Boston led the Blue Jackets, 4-3, in the third period on Tuesday
but wound up dropping a 5-4 overtime decision.
Bruins goaltender Tim Thomas might finally be starting to show
signs of fatigue, as he allowed five goals on 32 shots. Thomas
has appeared in 29 of Boston's 34 games this season.
The Blackhawks have won two of their last three and try to build
off a 2-1 triumph over the Dallas Stars on Tuesday. Denis
Arkhipov and Martin Lapointe scored power-play goals for Chicago
while Nikolai Khabibulin made 20 saves.
