DALLAS (Ticker) -- The Anaheim Ducks have not looked looked like the NHL's top club lately.

The Ducks look to reverse their recent losing trend Thursday when they visit the Dallas Stars.

Anaheim, which is 1-4-1 in its last six games, has struggled is the absence of goaltender Jean-Sebastien Giguere, who went down with a groin injury on December 26. He was 23-4-5 with a 2.17 goals-against average before suffering the injury.

Giguere's replacement, Ilya Bryzgalov, is 1-2-1 in his last four starts while allowing 13 goals. Dallas also has been bitten by the injury bug, playing its last 17 games without star center Mike Modano. The Stars are 8-8-1 without Modano, who has been sidelined with a hip injury since December 4.

The Stars are 1-3-1 in their last five games and look to rebound from a 5-2 home loss to the Phoenix Coyotes on Tuesday. Niklas Hagman and Jere Lehtinen scored for the Stars while Marty Turco made 23 saves.
