Penguins' Evgeni Malkin to miss at least two more games

Pittsburgh Penguins All-Star center Evgeni Malkin will miss at least two more games because of a lower-body injury, coach Mike Sullivan said Friday.

Malkin has already missed seven games since suffering the injury on Feb. 2, and he will not play against Tampa Bay on Saturday or Buffalo on Sunday. The next chance for Malkin to play would then come Wednesday against Boston.

"We have not made the decision yet for him to join the team in practice, and that's obviously the next step for him," Sullivan said.

Malkin, who skated on his own before the team's practice on Friday, has 23 goals and 49 points this season.
