The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed goaltender Anders Lindback to a two-year deal, the team announced Friday.
Lindback's deal is worth $3.6 million with $1.4 million coming this season and $2.2 million in 2013-14, a source told ESPN.com's Pierre LeBrun.
The Lightning acquired the Swede in a trade with the Nashville Predators on June 15.
Lindback, 24, played in 16 games and started 10 for the Predators this season. He registered a 5-8 mark to go with a 2.42 goals-against average and a .912 save percentage while serving as Pekka Rinne's backup.
