Jason Spezza joins Swiss club

Ottawa Senators star center Jason Spezza has signed with Rapperswil-Jona of the Swiss Elite League, his agent Rick Curran confirmed to ESPN.com on Wednesday.
Spezza joins fellow NHL stars Joe Thornton and Rick Nash (both with Davos) and Logan Couture (Geneva) in Switzerland as the NHL lockout reaches Day 5.
The 29-year-old Spezza finished the 2011-12 season with 84 points, tying his career high with 34 goals.
