A Milestone For Miller
From Elias: Ryan Miller, in the 500th game of his NHL career and possibly his last game with the Sabres, led Buffalo to a season-ending 2-1 shootout win over the Islanders. Miller, a Michigan native, is the fifth U.S.-born goaltender in NHL history to play 500 regular-season games. The other American goaltenders with at least 500 NHL games on their résumés are John Vanbiesbrouck (882), Tom Barrasso (777), Mike Richter (666) and Frank Brimsek (514).
