Ryan Miller Pitches Consecutive Shutouts At Home For First Time
From Elias: Ryan Miller posted his third shutout of the season and his second straight home shutout with a 6-0 win over the Bruins in Buffalo. It's the first time that Miller has recorded shutouts in consecutive home games in his NHL career. He beat the Rangers 1-0 in a shootout in his last home game (February 1). Miller's win on Wednesday night improved his career record in home games against the Bruins to 14-1-4.

Sabres Blank Bruins
From Elias: The Sabres' 6-0 win against Boston on Wednesday was their largest margin of victory ever in a regular-season shutout against the Bruins. Buffalo had a 6-0 playoff shutout versus the Bruins, by Jacques Cloutier at Boston Garden in the opening game of a first-round series in 1989.

Quite A Day For The Miller Family
From Elias: Buffalo goaltender Ryan Miller completed his 6-0 shutout of the Bruins shortly after his brother Drew scored the game-winning goal for the Red Wings in their 4-2 win over the Oilers on Wednesday night. The Millers are only the third goaltender/skater brother duo in NHL history to record a shutout and a game-winning goal on the same day. Tony Esposito and Phil Esposito did that three times (last on Oct. 10, 1973), and Tiny Thompson and his brother Paul also pulled off that feat three times (last in 1938).
