Jacques Rogge: Cricket could still bid

LAUSANNE, Switzerland -- IOC president Jacques Rogge says the criminal convictions of three Pakistan players for fixing should not damage cricket's hopes of becoming an Olympic sport.

Rogge said Wednesday the International Cricket Council is "working very well" against corruption.

Rogge says the Pakistan case would "not be held against them because we know they participate in the fight" against fixing and illegal betting.
