Ukrainian hockey coach waives bail
PHILADELPHIA -- A Ukrainian hockey coach charged with fondling a teen player in Philadelphia has waived his right to bail and will remain in custody.
Ivan Pravilov is also accused of threatening a teen witness. He's been a mentor to several NHL and college players.
A public defender didn't comment Wednesday on why Pravilov is no longer seeking bail. But the coach is wanted on an Interpol warrant for a 2007 assault in the Ukraine.
