Ryan Hall commits to marathon

Olympians Ryan Hall of the United States and Kim Smith of New Zealand have confirmed that they will run in the ING New York Marathon in November, race officials announced Wednesday.

Hall, who finished 10th in the 2008 Olympic marathon in Beijing and who qualified for the 2012 U.S. team in January, is running in New York for the second time.
