Chris Paul has sprained right thumb
LAS VEGAS -- The U.S. Olympic basketball team said Saturday that guard Chris Paul's injury is a sprained right thumb.
Paul was hurt Friday during the first day of training camp and had an X-ray that revealed the injury. He took part in some non-contact portions of practice Saturday but did not scrimmage with the Americans.
"It'll be all right," Paul said. "It's a little swollen. Once the swelling goes down I can play through the pain."
