Oh Jin-hyek wins archery gold

LONDON -- Oh Jin-hyek of South Korea won the gold medal in men's individual archery on Friday, topping Takaharu Furukawa of Japan in a one-sided final.

Oh won the gold matchup, 7-1. Dai Xiaoxiang of China won the bronze medal, beating Rick van der Ven of the Netherlands 10-8 in a shoot-off tiebreaker.

No. 1 Brady Ellison of the United States was ousted earlier this week in the early rounds. Second-seeded Im Dong-hyun of South Korea was eliminated Friday before the quarterfinals.
