2 London athletes banned for doping
MONACO -- The IAAF says two female athletes whose doping cases emerged at the London Olympics have been suspended by their national federations.
Track and field's governing body says Syrian 400-meter hurdler Ghfran Almouhamad is banned for six months through Feb. 9.
Almouhamad tested positive for the banned stimulant methylhexaneamine in a sample taken Aug. 3, two days before she finished eighth in her first-round heat at the Olympics.
