KOC president to step down

SEOUL, South Korea -- The president of South Korea's Olympic Committee says he will not run for a second term in elections this month.

Park Yong-sung says in a statement he has done all he set out to do as head of the KOC.

During his four-year term, South Korea won the right to host the 2018 Winter Olympics in the alpine town of Pyeongchang after two unsuccessful bids.
