FILA plans May elections
LONDON -- Wrestling's governing body will meet in Moscow in May to elect a new leader and adopt changes to the sport's rules in hopes of regaining its place in the Olympics.
Acting FILA president Nenad Lalovic tells The Associated Press the federation will hold an extraordinary congress in Moscow on May 18. That's just 10 days before the IOC executive board meets in St. Petersburg, Russia, to discuss the program for the 2020 Games.
