Test reveals Nagy has shoulder injury

BRATISLAVA, Slovakia -- A medical test Thursday ruled
Slovakia's Ladislav Nagy out of the upcoming world hockey championship in Vienna, Austria.

Hockey federation spokesman Lubomir Soucek said it was
impossible for Nagy, a member of the Phoenix Coyotes, to compete at
the championship because of a right shoulder injury.

Nagy was initially named by Slovakia coach Frantisek Hossa on
26-man roster late Wednesday but he was withdrawn Thursday, leaving
a squad of 25.

The championship start Saturday, with the final to be played on
May 15.
