STUTTGART, Germany -- David Oliver has won the 60-meter indoor hurdles at the Sparkassen Cup, with Olympic champion Dayron Robles unable to finish.
Robles was leading but clipped a hurdle and pulled up Saturday. Oliver finished in a personal-best 7.37 seconds, the first time the American beat Robles in six races.
Germany's Carolin Nytra took the women's 60 hurdles in 7.92, ahead of Russia's Aleksandra Antonowa (7.93) and world champion American Lolo Jones (7.94).
World indoor champion Abubaker Kaki of Sudan won the 800 in 1:45.02. Ethiopia's Yenew Alamirew captured the 3,000 in 7:27.80, the fourth-best time in indoors history.
Germany swept the pole vault titles, with Malte Mohr claiming the men's event with a personal best 19 feet, 2 inches and Silke Spiegelburg winning the women's competition by clearing 15-5.
