GUADALAJARA, Mexico -- Blake Ahearn scored 21 points and the United States rallied from a 17-point deficit to beat Brazil 88-77 Thursday night in a Group B game at the Pan American Games.
The United States, which is 2-0 and playing with a team made up of NBA D-League players, outscored Brazil 32-16 in the final quarter.
Justin Dentom added 16 points for the Americans, who trailed 55-38 in the third, but went on a 12-0 run to get back in the game.
Wellington Santos scored 16 for Brazil, and Vitor Benite added 15.
The Americans won their opening game Wednesday, holding off the Dominican Republic 77-76.
