Lithuanian biathlete admits doping

KRASNAYA POLYANA, Russia -- The International Biathlon Union says a Lithuanian biathlete who tested positive for a banned substance last year has admitted to doping.

The IBU said Sunday that Karolis Zlatkauskas waived his right to have his B sample tested and apologized "to the whole biathlon family for his actions." It said his urine sample from an out-of-competition test on Dec. 19, 2013, showed traces of the blood-booster EPO.
