Norwegian skier goes home
KRASNAYA POLYANA, Russia -- The Norwegian cross-country skier whose brother died on the eve of the Sochi Olympics has traveled back to Norway and will skip the remaining events.
The Norwegian team says Astrid Uhrenholdt Jacobsen didn't want to stay another week to compete in Saturday's 30-kilometer freestyle race. She was not selected to compete in Wednesday's team sprint.
