Andrew Gemmell, Becca Mann win

CASTAIC, Calif. -- Andrew Gemmell and Becca Mann have won the 10-kilometer titles at the U.S. open water national championships and earned berths at the Pan Pacific Championships in Australia this summer.

Gemmell won the men's race at Castaic Lake near Los Angeles on Friday in 1 hour, 50 minutes and 45.93 seconds. The 23-year-old swimmer from Wilmington, Delaware, took his first and only lead late in the race.
