Bradley Wiggins holds Dauphine lead

SAINT-FELICIEN, France -- Daniel Moreno Fernandez of Spain led a late breakaway on an uphill finish to win Tuesday's second stage of the Criterium du Dauphine, while Bradley Wiggins of Britain retained the overall lead.

Moreno Fernandez sprinted from the group to edge French pair Julien Simon and Tony Gallopin by a few lengths.

Four cyclists earlier had led in the 99-mile ride from Lamastre to Saint-Felicien, but the pack reeled them in during the final few miles.
