Tejay Van Garderen honors victims
CHARTRES, France -- U.S. cyclist Tejay Van Garderen has dedicated his strong performance in the Tour de France's final time trial to the victims of the deadly shootings at a movie theater in his home state.
The 23-year-old rider lives in Boulder, Colo. He says he had the victims in his mind during Saturday's 33-mile stage in which he finished seventh, and he'll be "thinking of them when I get to Paris," where the race ends Sunday.
