Russia completes synchro sweep

BARCELONA, Spain -- Russia has completed another sweep of synchronized swimming at the world championships.

The Russians took all seven gold medals in the sport they have dominated for years, finishing up with a runaway victory in the free combination Saturday night at the Palau Sant Jordi. They totaled 97.060 points, though the biggest cheers from the near-sellout crowd went to the home team.
