Gillian Ryan, Scott Weltz win titles
IRVINE, Calif. -- Gillian Ryan won her second title in two days at the U.S. Open, winning the 400-meter freestyle Wednesday.
She touched first in 4 minutes, 7.87 seconds at the William Woollett Jr. Aquatic Center. Ryan won the 800 free on the meet's opening night.
Lindsey Vrooman finished second in the 400 free and Amber McDermott was third.
