COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Charlotte Lichtman and Dean Copely, the 2011 U.S. junior champions in ice dance, are splitting up after four years together.
Lichtman and Copely didn't give a reason for the split, which was announced Friday. Both said they intend to find new partners.
Lichtman and Copely teamed up in August 2008, and won the U.S. junior title in their third season together. They also were bronze medalists at the junior world championships that year.
They moved up to the senior ranks last season, finishing 10th at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships.
