2 Swiss athletes banned
BERN, Switzerland -- Switzerland's Olympic committee says two of its athletes have received two-year bans for "possession and attempted use" of doping products bought online.
The committee says it's the first time national anti-doping rules have been applied in cases of banned drugs ordered on the Internet.
Roger Nachbur, a 30-year-old road cyclist, and 41-year-old speed skier Reto Eigenmann are barred from competition through Aug. 22, 2014.
Swiss Olympic says Nachbur ordered clenbuterol and EPO, and Eigenmann bought testosterone, the steroid trenbolone acetate and clomifene, an anabolic agent.
They haven't competed in the Olympics, but fall under the committee's jurisdiction because they're national athletes.
