NEW YORK -- American stars Jason Richardson, Jesse Williams and Sanya Richards-Ross will compete at the Adidas Grand Prix in New York City next month.
Richardson and Williams are reigning world champions -- Richardson in the 110-meter hurdles and Williams in the high jump. Richardson will face a tough field against two other top Americans, Aries Merritt and David Oliver.
Richards-Ross is the 2009 world champion at 400 meters.
Three other reigning world champs had already been announced: Yohan Blake in the men's 100, Carmelita Jeter in the women's 100 and David Rudisha in the 800.
The meet is June 9 on Randall's Island, east of Upper Manhattan.
