A year's worth of training and competition is on display from 58 athletes from all over the world at the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS Professional Series round one June 5-6 at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, Utah.

This is the series' 24th season and their second straight year to use Thanksgiving Point as a stop on its national tour.

The competition brings together 32 professional lumberjacks to compete in six head-to-head traditional lumberjack disciplines, including the single buck, stock and hot saw, underhand, standing and springboard chops. Only 16 advance to the semi-finals, which will be held in Columbus, Ga., on June 20.

Two specialty disciplines, the boom run and speed climb are also held featuring eight lumberjills in the boom run and eight climbers in the speed climb.
