Rook went shallow all week with a Rapala Shad Rap #8 (natural shad) fished on 10-pound test Trilene fluorocarbon line (which caught his big string on day one) and a 3/8-ounce bullet head jig (hand-poured by Rook in a Do-it mold) teamed with a Berkley Powerbait twin-tail trailer. He mostly fished the backs of creeks in 2 to 6 feet of water with the crankbait and pitched into any brush piles he encountered with the jig.
