The Bassmaster Classic, sanction by BASS, the worldwide authority on bass fishing, is set to take place February 23 – 25, 2007 on Birmingham, Alabama's Lay Lake. Birmingham, crowned America's Bass Capital by Bassmaster magazine in 2006, will be hosting this prestigious event for the 6th time.
Boats launch at 7:00 AM daily from Paradise Point Marina at Lay Lake, located mid-lake on Paradise Point Road off Fort Williams Ferry Road (State Hwy 28.)

The Classic ESPN Outdoors Expo presented by Under Armor will be held at the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex Friday – Sunday, February 23 – 25, 2007. Doors open daily at 10:00 AM. The 4th annual Junior Bassmaster World Championship will take place on Alabama's Logan Martin Lake February 18, 2007. This is your chance to cheer on future pro anglers while meeting and greeting your favorite Bassmaster Classic Contenders. That's right, the Junior Bassmaster World Championship is the only place you can meet all 50 Bassmaster Classic Contenders.
Sunday, February 18, 2007 at 1:00PM at Lakeside Landing at Logan Martin Lake, located at located in east-central Alabama on the Coosa River, approximately 30 miles east of Birmingham at 4600 Martin Street South Cropwell, AL 35054.

WOMEN'S BASSMASTER TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP
Lake Mitchell will host the inaugural Mercury Marine Women's Bassmaster Tour presented by Triton Boats Championship February 22 – 24, 2007. The Championship event will feature the top 12 anglers and co-anglers from the five-event inaugural season of the Mercury Marine Women's Bassmaster Tour presented by Triton boats, based on Toyota Women's Bassmaster Tour Angler of the Year points.
Boats launch daily at 6:40 AM from Higgins Ferry boat ramp at Lake Mitchell, located north of Clanton at the Lake Mitchell exit off I-65. Take County Road 28 until it dead-ends at Higgins Ferry Park.
Day 1: Higgins Ferry at 2:45 PM; Days 2 & 3: Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex. Friday weigh-in starts at 3:00 PM; Saturday weigh-in starts at 3:45 PM.
