John Adams, outfielder, 25 years old: With LV the entire season. Originally signed by Arizona out of Wichita State, he's also played in the
Padres organization. Married.

David Carroll, LHP, 29: With LV the entire season. Originally picked by St. Louis in sixth round of 1993 draft. Limited by shoulder
injuries, he has pitched in the St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Oakland, Yankees and Minnesota organizations.
Joel Fuentes, IF, 24: Originally drafted in the 24th round by the Giants in 1997. He's currently on the bench with a torn hamstring.
Chad Gambill, OF, 26: Originally drafted by the Rockies, he was set back by a torn hamstring. He didn't play at all the last two seasons
prior to joining LV.
Victor Gutierrez, SS, 23: Is currently away from the team while he goes through process to become a permanent resident of the U.S.
Harvey Hargrove, IF-OF, 25: Originally drafted by Mariners out of Sacramento State, he was released this spring and hooked on with LV. Converted from outfield to second base.
Terry Hayden, LHP, 26: Originally drafted by the Red Sox, he also played in the Reds organization. Is recovering from Tommy John surgery
and just joined the team over the weekend.
Craig Johnson, RHP, 25: Pitched as high as AAA Toledo in Tigers organization.
Mike Martini, LHP, 22: Undrafted out of Eastern Kentucky University, he is playing with his first professional team.
Angel Miranda, LHP, 31: Only former big-leaguer on the team, he pitched five seasons with the Brewers. He is the team's oldest player and
also the closer.
Asbel Ortiz, IF, 25: Originally signed by the Giants in 1994, he's played in Atlantic League four seasons. Currently on the bench with a
sore right foot he injured when he fouled two pitches off it.
Hiroshi Numate, RHP, 27: Perhaps the team's best starter, the Japan native spent the season's first two months on the bench waiting
until his visa situation was cleared up.

Mark Seaver, RHP, 26: Originally drafted by Oakland. On loan from the Long Island Ducks to get more playing time.
Kyle Sheldon, RHP, 24: Reliever most recently pitched in Expos organization before joining LV.
Jason Torres, C, 22: Originally drafted in 17th round by Rangers, he's had elbow problems and was released this year. Joined LV
several weeks ago.
Edgar Tovar, IF, 27: Player-coach. Originally signed by Montreal in 1992, he's played in several independent leagues.
Chris Van Rossum, OF, 27: Has spent entire summer moving from team to team. Joined LV last week.
Matt Weimer, RHP 26: Pitched at Penn State and was drafted by the Blue Jays. Pitched at AA last year.
Mark Williams, C-3B, 27: Originally drafted by the Cardinals in 1993, he was out of baseball last year, working as a police officer
outside of Indianapolis. Missed baseball so much he returned as backup catcher.
