The first annual Chucky Brown All-Star Game
Page 2 staff

Chucky Brown of the Cleveland Cavaliers -- at least as of today -- has played for an NBA-record 11 teams during his 12-year career.

As pro basketball's most well-traveled player, Brown has performed alongside such NBA legends as Hakeem Olajuwon, David Robinson, James Worthy, Bernard King, Maurice Cheeks and Clyde Drexler. He also was involved in the five-player trade that sent Charles Barkley from Phoenix to Houston in 1996.

The 2001 NBA All-Star Game was a showcase for FOCs ("Friends of Chucky"), as eight players who have shared a roster with Brown were chosen for the big show in D.C.

All this caused Page 2 to wonder: How would a roster of All-Stars who played with Chucky fare against a team of All-Stars who have yet to call Chucky their teammate? We did some research and put the two teams together. Now, it's up to you to pick the winner in Page 2's first annual Chucky Brown All-Star Game.

Also, take a look at some of his different NBA stops in the Chucky Brown photo gallery.

THE CHUCKY BROWN ALL-STARS
Tim Duncan TIM DUNCAN

2000-01 stats: 21.1 ppg., 11.9 rpg., 2.8 apg., 2.4 bpg.

2000-01 stats: 22.5 ppg., 7.1 rpg., 3.6 apg.

Ray Allen RAY ALLEN

2000-01 stats: 21.6 ppg., 5.1 rpg., 4.2 apg, 1.6 spg.
Connection to Chucky: Brown played 60 games with Allen's Milwaukee Bucks in 1996-97.

Point guard
Size: 6-foot-4, 212 pounds
2000-01 stats: 16.1 ppg., 6.2 rpg., 9.8 apg, 2.1 spg.
Connection to Chucky: Brown and Kidd both played for the Suns in 1996-97 -- although Kidd was traded to Phoenix just 22 days after Brown was dealt to Milwaukee. We figured that was close enough -- especially since Chucky's All-Stars needed a point guard.

Ray Allen THE BENCH
Roster of reserves: David Robinson (pictured), Anthony Mason, Vlade Divac and Chucky Brown himself
Connections to Chucky: Robinson played with Chucky in San Antonio in 1999-2000. Mason played alongside Brown in Charlotte in 1998-99, and Divac and Chucky played together for the Lakers in 1991-92.

THE NON-CHUCKY CHUCKERS
Tim Duncan CHRIS WEBBER
Power forward
Size: 6-foot-10, 245 pounds
2000-01 stats: 27.4 ppg., 11.3 rpg., 4.1 apg., 2.2 bpg.
Distant connection to Chucky: They haven't played together yet, but that could always change when C-Webb joins a new team this summer.

Glenn Robinson VINCE CARTER
Small forward
Size: 6-foot-6, 225 pounds
2000-01 stats: 27.2 ppg., 5.2 rpg., 3.7 apg, 1.5 spg.
Distant connection to Chucky: Brown is surely among the thousands of players that Air Canada has dunked on.

Dikembe Mutombo SHAQUILLE O'NEAL
Center
Size: 7-foot-1, 315 pounds
2000-01 stats: 27.5 ppg., 12.8 rpg., 3.0 bpg, 3.9 apg.
Distant connection to Chucky: Brown's Rockets swept Shaq's Magic for the NBA title in 1995.

Ray Allen KOBE BRYANT
Shooting guard
Size: 6-foot-7, 210 pounds
2000-01 stats: 29.8 ppg., 6.1 rpg., 4.8 apg, 1.7 spg.
Distant connection to Chucky: Kobe doesn't want to share the ball with Chucky, either.

Ray Allen ALLEN IVERSON
Point guard
Size: 6-foot-0, 165 pounds
2000-01 stats: 30.4 ppg., 4.0 rpg., 4.8 apg, 2.4 spg.
Distant connection to Chucky: Iverson disparages Brown on his new rap CD when he says, "Outta my way, all you suckas and 'Chuckas.' "

Ray Allen THE BENCH
Roster of reserves: Kevin Garnett (pictured), Stephon Marbury and Karl Malone
Distant connections to Chucky: Garnett was 15 when Brown changed teams for the first time. Marbury might want to ask Chucky about how to deal with being traded from a contender to a lottery team. Despite Chucky's presence in the league, Malone says the NBA is still a joke.
