In the wake of the debacle at the end of the Giants-49ers game on Sunday, the NFL has instituted several changes to make sure that its referees always make the right call at the end of crucial playoff games.

In fact, Page 2 cartoonist Kurt Snibbe reveals, the league is going as far as to implement a new set of signals to allow officials to accurately communicate their judgments to viewers at home. Here's a fan's guide to the new signals:
