Pete Rose
Pony goes for that old-school feel with Pete Rose as an endorser.
What was Pony thinking when it launched an advertising campaign to get Pete Rose, Jack Tatum and Ken Stabler into their respective sports' Hall of Fame?

A. "Nobody ever played the ponies more than Pete Rose, so he's due a little payback."

B. "Sure, his nickname was 'The Assassin,' and, sure, his tackle paralyzed a guy in a preseason game ... but other than that, Tatum was a swell guy."

C. "Bud Selig hates Pete Rose. A lot of baseball fans hate Bud Selig. So, the enemy of my enemy is my friend ... and customer."

D. "Just imagine how good Stabler's stats would be if he'd ever played a game sober."

E. "Somebody's gotta do something to get Pete off the Home Shopping Network."

F. "Too bad we couldn't get Dennis Rodman for this campaign."
