What was Barbra Streisand thinking?

Barbara Streisand
People who misquote famous people are the unluckiest people in the world.
What the heck was Barbra Streisand thinking when she criticized President Bush's campaign for a war on Iraq by using a fabricated quote from Shakespeare? (The quote was neither from Shakespeare nor Julius Caesar and exists only as an Internet hoax).

A. "It doesn't matter where the quote came from. George Bush shouldn't invade Iraq, or any other part of Canada."

B. "Who cares about the quote's authenticity? Which side did the audience see me from?"

C. "Perhaps that wonderful line I heard I about 'Doing it all for the nookie' wasn't by Shakespeare, either."

D. "People will forget all about this mistake once the long-awaited sequel 'The Mirror Has Three Faces' hits theatres this November.

E. "My transformation from annoying in the entertainment world to annoying in the political world isn't going to be a smooth one."

F. "William Shakespeare or some dude in his basement making up phrases while getting high and surfing porn? Either way, the quote speaks for itself."
