What the heck was former baseball investigator John Dowd thinking when he told the New York Post that Pete Rose had bet against the Reds while he was managing them, then admitted that he had no real proof?
B. "I just wanted to be a part of one of those clever Post headlines, like 'Dowd and Out' or 'Howdy Dowdy.' "
C. "And I also know for a fact that Oswald acted alone. It said so on the Internet last week."
D. "C'mon, he started Mario Soto 19 times! What more do you people need?
E. "I had the evidence on videotape until last week when I recorded 'Charmed' on top of it. Darn that Alyssa Milano."
F. "Good thing he's only on baseball death row, not the real one."
