What the heck were the Florida Marlins thinking when they hired 72-year-old Jack McKeon as their manager?

"Can we play all day games? I tend to go to bed at about 7:30."
A. "Hey, you try finding someone younger than that in the state of Florida."

B. "Our only hesitation was how the players would react to that 'old person smell' in the dugout."

C. "As soon as we bring in Joe DiMaggio to play some outfield, we're in business!"

D. "We had no idea the actor who played 'Jo' on 'Facts of Life' was so old. And a man!"

E. "It isn't just every day you get the chance to hire the 64th-winningest manager in baseball history."

F. "We wanted to go with Leo Durocher or Casey Stengel, but apparently they aren't alive anymore."
