What was Rudy Giuliani thinking?
Page 2 staff

As usual, a lot of strange stuff is happening in the world of sports -- and in the real world, for that matter. So, Page 2 is here once again to try to make sense of all the weirdness with another edition of "What the Heck Are They Thinking?"

Rudy Giuliani
"Well I took Donna to Shea, and look how that turned out."
We've tried to figure out what some prominent folks might be thinking -- if anything -- and the best we could do was come up with multiple possibilities, all equally plausible. So, as always, we are asking for your help.

Check out the options for each questionable act or quote, and vote in the poll to move on to yet another strange story.

What the heck was Rudy Giuliani thinking when he went to a Yankee game -- without his new bride -- two days after getting married?

A. "Have you seen how much Steinbrenner charges for those box seats? I'm only budgeted for one."

B. "What's the big deal? It isn't like I took my new mistress instead."

C. "Roger Clemens only wins his 300th game one time. I'll be a newlywed three or four more times."

D."I wanted to hear some Bronx cheers outside the bedroom for a change."

E. "Where else am I supposed to go to get away from the ol' ball-and-chain. I closed all the strip joints and peep shows when I was mayor."

F. "I love my wife. I couldn't subject her to a Yankee game the way they're playing right now."
