Lucas Luhr takes pole for ALMS race
ELKHART LAKE, Wis. -- Lucas Luhr captured the overall and P1 class pole position for Sunday's American Le Mans Series race at Road America.
Luhr's 21st career ALMS pole puts him second in the series.
Luhr, driving the No. 6 Muscle Milk HPD ARX-03c prototype, lapped the 4.048-mile road course in 1 minute, 51.460 seconds (130.745 mph). He will co-drive with Klaus Graf.
Other polesitters were: Marino Franchitti in P2; Colin Braun in PC; Jonathan Bomarito in GT; and Spencer Pumpelly in GTC.
