    2012 recap: Harvick was winless until the next-to-last race of the year when he took the checkered flag at Phoenix, but he was the only driver at Richard Childress Racing to make the Chase.

    He finished eighth in the season standings, and was the only Chevrolet driver in the top 15 who wasn't using Hendrick Motorsports cars and engines. Harvick also became a father for the first time when his wife, DeLana, gave birth to their son, Keelan, on July 8.
