    2012 recap: In his first season at Hendrick Motorsports, Kahne finished a career-best fourth in the Cup standings. After a slow start that saw him ranked 31st six races into the season, Kahne recovered to win twice and make a strong showing in the Chase. He won the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte for the third time in his career and earned his first New Hampshire victory in the July race at Loudon.
