2012 recap: Statistically, Menard had the best season of his career, ending the year 16th in the standings (he was 17th in 2011) with an average finish of 15.5, which was 2.5 spots better than 2011 when he won the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis. Menard has managed to finish every race in the past five seasons. His nine top-10s also were a career best.
