Rubens Barrichello considers IndyCar
Formula One driver Rubens Barrichello is headed back to Brazil to consider his racing future.
A seat with KV Racing Technology in the IndyCar Series is definitely an option.
Barrichello tested during the morning session Wednesday at Sebring International Raceway in Tony Kanaan's car. He had originally been scheduled to test only Monday and Tuesday.
Barrichello was extremely pleased with his time in IndyCar, and praised both the new Dallara DW12 and the KV Racing team. He said he liked the environment in the series, and thanked IndyCar CEO Randy Bernard for coming to meet him on the first day of the test.
Barrichello is the most veteran driver in F1, but lost his seat at Williams earlier this month to Bruno Senna.
He says he still wants to race.
